Some women love to layer up and some women absolutely hate it. Winter fashion is not for everyone but it does not have to be complicated. The biggest hurdle is learning how to layer up without looking like you literally threw all of the warm-looking clothes on. There are a few different styles you can cling to as your base for winter and build from there or pieces to add to your existing wardrobe that can elevate your winter look.
Let’s see what they are!
Style 1: The Monochromatic Look
This is 50 shades of whichever color you’re feeling that day. The key with a monochromatic look is to be wearing the same color for your entire outfit or at least different shades of that color. This style outfit helps to elevate your look and elongate your figure, helping you look tall, beautiful, and chic!
Style 2: Casual Cutie
This style combines jeans and a nice coat. Dark wash, light wash, black, gray, any style denim and you throw a nice coat over it. You can also mix this look with a sweater and sneakers for a more street-style edgy look.
Style 3: The Anna Wintour
All hail Queen Vogue, as she has created this iconic look that is both elegant and spunky. Mixing in her European style with an American touch. This style combines boots and skirts or dresses. Yes, you can still wear a dress in winter and be warm. Now, there is a difference between a mini-skirt and thigh-boots and an over-the-knee skirt and below-the-knee boot. The difference is, one is classy and one is well…not so classy. With this style, you can wear a pleated skirt or fitted dress.

Now that you have some looks, some tips, and a little more fashion inspiration, don’t let this winter fashion get you in a rut. Have fun and experiment with your wardrobe!
